I enjoyed reading the first book "Jingling our Change", but as another reviewer pointed out, there are a lot of grammatical errors and spelling errors in this book. (I home schooled my kids, so I am probably extra picky when I am reading) But overall, it is an interesting story, with a believable plot. Finally, a book that doesn't take place in Idaho, or have some reference to Idaho! (I live in Idaho and am kind of tired of people thinking we are the ONLY place you can live if there is a collapse.) It is troubling to think what might happen to those who are dependent on medications to live day-to-day if something such as this scenario were to happen. Kelli, you left us hanging at the end, don't wait too long to continue the story, I want to know what happens next!Product details

The first book "Jingling Our Change" was a bit better. In spite of having some slow spots I did manage to finish "Nanny State". This in itself is a recommendation and is more than I can say of several samples/e-books I've read lately. The scenario is certainly possible, perhaps not next year, but eventually. The characters act as I expect most people would act (and do act now). Some dither and say "It can't happen here". Others are more proactive. Decisions, decisions! I do wonder where the author will go with the plot in the next book, so I'll buy the next one too.
Great continued story from the first book! Keep up the good work, we are waiting for book 3!
good characters, good plot a and a fun read, waiting for the next installment to come out so I can revisit this novel
The second book in an excellent series. Due to the time lapse in between the first and second installments I reread the first before starting on this one. In my review of LD1 I mentioned a lack of action, but upon second reading I feel differently. LD2 ramps up the action some and introduces new characters.
I couldn't put the first book down and this second one is just as good. real people and real happenings that can happen to us all as we sit at home ignoring all the signs. I can't wait for the next book! the characters are warm and real and make me laugh and care about them as the plot unfolds. buy this book it will not disappoint .
After reading the first book " Jingling Our Change" I was invested in these characters and what was happening to the US and how it personally affected these people. The chip concernes me greatly because you hear about it on the news already.
This second book kept me on the edge of my seat as the US continued to change and how the lives of the orginal characters were interwoven with new characters. The suspence and critial thinking of the characters actions was riviting. These books will stimulate your thinking. People are not always what they seem and sometimes that is a plus. Great books - Great read and can not wait until book 3. Should be made into a miniseries.

You are truly a gifted writer and certainly in tune with the current situation in our world today. I too was born in (the peoples republic) of Illinois and am happy to say I no longer call it home. I thought "Jingling your Change" was an awesome book. This one is even better! I am waiting excitedly for the next book and hope to see it soon. You are a courageous patriot and I wish all good things for you.

This book is well worth the time and money. You will enjoy the characters and the story will keep you up late trying to finish it. It has a number of great ideas in preparing for hard times. If you enjoy this type of novel you should definitely get book #1
